Make Your Yard Look AMAZING With This Hack

It’s not quite spring yet, but the warm season isn’t too far off and your grass will be green again! Of course, once spring hits, it can be really obvious if our lawns are looking a little worse for the wear. If you have areas of dead or burnt grass, or even areas of dog urine stain, you can use this method to revive your brown grass. Before long your entire lawn will be green again!

Pick up epsom salts at the grocery store (Epsom salts are known for their crazy abilities when it comes to plants and greenery. Check out this article for more!)

Sprinkle a hearty amount of epsom salt and on your dead or burnt grass.  I typically just sprinkle Epsom salt in a strainer over the areas of my lawn. It doesn’t take much, just make sure the whole spot is covered! Walk away and give this area of your lawn a good watering.

If you’re dealing with dog spots, try mixing 2 tablespoons of baking soda into a gallon of water. You can mix it in a bucket and dump it directly on the urine spot, or you can mix it in a garden hose attachment (like this) and soak it down thoroughly. I think that the attachment is a better solution for larger areas, though! Reapply once weekly until you see your grass improve.
