Just like everyone else, I love the way white teeth look. When your teeth are white, they just brighten your entire face. They can make such a huge difference! But I really don’t like putting gross chemicals inside my mouth–they taste gross and they’re so bad for you! But never fear! I’ve found some really great teeth-whitening strategies that are totally natural. So whiten away!
Everyday Roots suggests making a toothpaste out of lemon juice and baking soda. Apply the mixture to your toothbrush, brush your teeth, then leave the baking soda paste on your teeth for a minute. When you take the paste off, your teeth will be glowing!
Crystal from Natural Thrifty recommends oil pulling to get your teeth sparkly white. Oil pulling is very easy. Just put about a tablespoon of coconut oil in your mouth, swish it around (especially through & around your teeth) for 15 minutes or so, then after you spit it out, brush your teeth like usual!
Everyday Roots suggests making a paste out of strawberries, sea salt, and baking soda. This mixture should stay on your teeth for about 5 minutes. After your done, make sure to brush as usual. This method is easy and totally natural!
A Return to Simplicity posted a recipe for an all-natural teeth whitener that’s primarily made out of bentonite clay and charcoal capsules (hence the dark color). But don’t be scared by the black paste! Lots of people swear by this method. The ingredients are all natural, and the taste is refreshingly minty!
Body Unburdened posted a recipe for a DIY teeth whitener that would be so easy to make! You probably have all the ingredients already! All you need is aluminum-free baking soda, 3% food-grade hydrogen peroxide, and peppermint essential oils. This treatment can be used daily or simply once a week for a routine teeth whitening.

Wow such a great list! The black paste worked indeed, but not too much. But it shows real results in me.

But isnt lemon juice and baking soda bad since it eats away at the enamel? In fact things like juice and soda with high acidity do so too. So wouldnt making the paste and coating it on and leaving it for a minute or even brusbing it againts the surface of your teeth weaken them?
Amber says
Well if you were doing this every day over a long period of time, yes it would eventually weaken them. As long as you are spacing out how often you do it, you should be fine. Also, everyone is slightly different. I know that my sister has weaker enamel so I would probably tell her to do this very rarely, where as I could do it more often.

Can you use this if you have caps
Amber says
You know I’m not sure. That would be best to ask your dentist
