I love houseplants…of both the real and the fake variety. Something about them just does wonders in regards to brightening up a room! I have a mixture of real and fake houseplants throughout my house, and I sure do hate when my plant leaves get dusty! I’m all about a dust free home, and dust free plants! Some houseplants indoors already look fake enough without an accent of a thick coating of dust! Here’s my secret to keeping houseplants dust free!
1.If your houseplants are real, wash them with lukewarm water. Water that is too hot or too cold with shock the plants. Wash little plants in the sink, and big ones in the shower. A quick shower can get them to be dust-free, fast. The clean up is tolerable as well!
2.For plants with large leaves, use a damp cloth to wipe the leaves down. Depending on the severity of the dust, you will likely have to wash out your rag often. This is a project best done by the sink!
